The guides for The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay are all available for free online via the Scholastic Teach website. Each guide features anywhere from 14 to 23 questions based on each book, with the questions designed to ignite a classroom discussion.

Scholastic’s online teaching resources for The Hunger Games trilogy also include discussion points for The Hunger Games and Catching Fire on themes such as war, survival, grief and loss, etc. There are also interactive chapter samplers for each book, plus PDF versions for students to use.

Other features include a book talk video for The Hunger Games and Catching Fire, video of author Suzanne Collins reading chapter one of Mockingjay, a “reader” list for suggested books after The Hunger Games, and interviews with Collins herself.
